Meet Bethany Harrison

This company was founded in 2024 by Bethany Harrison. I graduated in August of 2024 from Marquette University with a Masters of science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus on Children and Adolescents. It has been quite the j0urney to get to where I am today! I am originally from Texas! I went back to school already being a young mother needing to take remedial courses. Shortly thereafter, my partner joined the military and we packed up and left my home state. I took a break from my undergraduate degree. After graduating from Columbia College with a major in psychology, My family and I sought to put our roots down in Green Bay Wisconsin. After Covid hit and my children went back to school, I enrolled in Marquette University’s online masters degree program and have been a student, wife, and mother for the past 3 years.
My hopes are to provide a safe place for my clients while lending an attentive ear to anyone that needs it. I have a passion for working with children and have chosen to focus primarily on children and adolescents. As a mother, I have seen first hand how rewarding and challenging it can be to raise children. I fully believe that these “little humans” are marginalized in many ways and deserve a person who is willing to jump in and help their thoughts, feelings, and needs to be heard and understood by others. Afterall, kids don’t pick us, we have them! Being a parent is that hardest job in the world and it can be difficult when you feel as if you are struggling with daily stressors and trying to raise your kids in the best way possible. I aim to help children, adolescents, parents, families, and individuals that are seeking someone who can listen to them and validate their experiences. I hope that in my work, I can help to bring people together in understanding of one another. Whether it be couples, individuals, kids, siblings, or whole families, I will do what I can to be here for you and your therapy needs!
I define Metamorphosis as: a change of one’s physical or psychological form, structure, or substance. I chose the name metamorphosis because I felt that it is a beautiful description of what we aim to accomplish as clients and counselors working together.

Background in Industry
I have always been fascinated by the human mind and how we function as completely unique entities yet are al connected. I have worked in childcare ever since I graduated from high school and have always enjoyed watching my classrooms of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers learn and thrive in those types of environments in so many different ways. The very first course that I took in my undergraduate program was developmental psychology and I was hooked! I worked as an intern at Phoenix Rising LLC, under Kimberly Kennedy for a year and a half. She was an amazing supervisor and I did learn so much from her and how she treat her clients and runs her business. I continue to work down the hall from her and she continues to be one of my most valued assets in this profession.
